Russ Blair
Richfield |
My
name is Russ Blair and I started working for the Transmission Shop
Inc in 1990. I have been a "car guy" my whole life. I started working on cars
at 10 years old, helping my Dad do tune ups on the family car. I have
always tried to find ways to help people with their car decisions.
I try to take a common sense approach to things. I believe that if
you help people whenever possible, when you need help, someone will
be there to help you. I knew shortly after I started working for Steve
Jensen and the Transmission Shop that I had found my home. We believe
that our customers come first and it's up to us to do whatever we
can to help them. EVERY TIME. |

I've
been in the auto repair business for 27 years. I really enjoy being
outside, test driving cars and love finding problems other shops
haven't been able to diagnose. I do towing, cleaning, answering phones,
whatever needs to be done. I enjoy joking and teasing the people I
work with. Life's too short not to laugh as much as possible. I've
lived in Minnesota all my life. I've been married 14 years and have
a great daughter and two hunting dogs. I enjoy going to the cabin,
fishing, hunting, fall time and eating! |

Our Philosophy here at this location is consistent with TSI's mission. That is fast, customer sensitive service. We work hard to lessen the stress and inconvenience related to auto repair. We will take the time to communicate the hows and whys of your repair or offer options that make sense. Stop by and see the difference in service that you may have had elsewhere.
I've always enjoyed mechanical things; seeing how they work, fixing them and improving them if I can. I started working on cars in 1982, and have been at it ever since. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. |

Chris Skoog
Brooklyn Park |
I started out in the automotive field in 1988 as an oil lube tech. I gained my ASE certification in various aspects of automotive repair. When given the opportunity to work for Transmission Shop in 1998, I jumped at the chance and have never looked back. I discovered that TSI and I share the same philosophy: follow the Golden Rule. This has played an important role, both in my personal life and the career I have chosen. |
